My favorite couple this season was Lance and Lacey and they were there and they did my favorite dance which was their tango so I was so excited. Here's the YouTube version of it.
Thanks Skye! It was a blast!
Today Coby spent the morning snow blowing everyone out with his brothers and dad and then we went sledding down the hill by his parents house. The kids had so much fun (and the adults) the boys even got brave and tried snowboarding on the sleds down. Beck wasn't a fan but sat on my lap the whole time watching the entertainment. After we had soup at and the kids watched Wall*E. They wanted a snack and none of us got them one so we found that Lexie had gotten a box of Wheat thins and they were munching on the couch while they watched the movie.
Denver lovesthe snow and spent the whole time shoveling. He wanted to make a snowman and slide down hills like last year but I talked him into waiting till there was more snow. He just sat out there and played.
Beckham wasn't sure what he thought of the snow. It wasn't the cold or wet that he didn't like, it was the clothes. He really disliked the pants and hat and gloves, but it was the boots that were the worst. He could barely walk two feet without falling over, Oh well, at least there is finally a little snow to play in (at least for today)

And at North Park Frankenstein and a witch came and Denver took his picture with them.
Coby and I had bought costumes to wear with the kids trick-or-treating this year. Coby thought we needed to because at this age they would love it and some day we'd just embarrass them. Then we got an invite to a friends Halloween party so we just wore them there. It was last night and here's a picture of us as Zorro and Snow White. We had a great time and the kids really did think we were fun.

The boys love to go play at the farm. Denver loves running through the corn and playing on the tramp. Beck just loves the dirt. Grandpa took them on the tractor the other day and let them run the controls to lift the bucket up and down. They love to ride the motorcycle with him but Denver has decided that he needs his own little one, so Tom pulled out the old one we used to ride around and told him he'd fix it up so when he turns 5 he can ride by himself. (We'll see how mom and dad feel about that in a couple years)
I saw this on my friend Joell's blog and thought it was fun.
I haven't got much to blog about but we've taken some pictures that I thought I'd post. Today they had a health safety clinic at mom's elementary school and denver got to see the life flight helicopter come and land and look around it. They had the big ladder firetruck, an ambulance, cop cars and everything. Denver has started painting when Beckham is asleep and he's getting pretty good. Beckham is getting a fun personality and always into everything, if it makes a mess or loud noises then he loves it. We're enjoying the last of the good weather and grilling alot and we've had a lot of fun.

Happy Birthday Coby! I can't believe that I'm married to someone 30! He's getting so old :) For his birthday I got all the old sports pictures and news paper articles from his mom and put them into a scrap book. 94 pages later- here's a couple favorite pictures. He's so great at everything: sports, work, being a dad and husband. I'm very lucky and just want to wish him happy birthday!
Well today was Denver's first day of Preschool! He was so excited he wanted to go all by himself, but he told grandma that mom would have to drive him since he didn't have a car yet. He did great and loved every minute of it. I'm so proud of him for not being scared or crying. He's going to this wonderful teacher Nicole Nelson (her blog is on my list on the side) and she is so great! I worked with her at North Park before she had kids and decided to run a preschool out of her basement so she could stay home. I'm so happy to have a place for him to go that I know the teacher so well and know that he will learn a lot but still be a kid.
I don't know where a year went!?! As I look back and remember what an exciting entrance he made into the world, I should have know he would become a special kid. Beck has turned into a very mischievous, independent, fun little guy. He loves food and will come running if he sees anyone eating. He loves to play with his brother and is already starting to get his own way . He is always smiling unless he's hungry or tired (like his mom) and we love the atmosphere he brings into our family.
