Christmas

This year for Christmas Eve we spent at the Reese side and had a fun party. We played alot of games, sang carols, and the kids acted out the nativity.Christmas morning the boys were surprised with lots of fun stuff from Santa including a train table. Beckham's favorite were some Buzz Lightyear wings that he wore all day as he played. He still loves "flying" around the house.Denver got a lot of Transformer stuff and some Toy Story Army men that he was excited about.I surprised Coby with a shot gun and he got me some new pans that I love. We had a lot of fun and hope everyone else did too.

Singing & Jazz

Friday night Denver had a singing concert with a group he is in call TaVaci. He absolutely loves it and had a blast these past few months. He goes with his cousin Livie and they did a great job. Santa even came, which I discovered if they have a fake beard they are the "real santa" and guys with their own beard are helpers and he has no interest in talking to them. Then last night Coby and I had the chance to go the the Jazz versus the Lakers game and sit in a suite with some people from work. Probably the first and last chance that will happen but it was pretty cool. Being pregnant my favorite part is it had it's own bathroom :) Also President Monson was in a suite about five away from us, some people were lucky enought to run into him in the hall and shake his hand. My other favorite part of the night (besides the fact they won) was they had a Red Mango at the arena that I stood in line forever to get but it was sooo worth it!

First Santa of the Year

We went to the bowling alley for a Christmas party with my family and Santa made a visit. The kids love bowling and the adults enjoyed themselves even more trying to beat each other. It really looked just like last year when we did this but this year I'm a lot bigger :)The kids were excited to see Santa, Denver still thinks they are best friends. Beck didn't really want anything to do with him until he saw that he got a present for sitting on his lap then he was okay. They were the only two that got presents but a lot of the adults there talked to him to let him know what they wanted I guess :)My little sister Skye.Spencer's wife Tori.

One of those weeks...

We have had one of those weeks. Last Thursday I was babysitting and the boys clogged the toilet upstairs. Coby was able to clear it but it sent it down and blocked the downstairs and we had to have our friend (the plumber) come tear everything apart to get it working. Then Monday Denver and his friend Kyla decide to fill the entire upstairs toilet with toilet paper and it's now clogged again! Ugh, now we are waiting for the plumber to come because we can't even start to unplug the mess. Then today Beck was outside pushing a truck on the driveway and biffed it. He had road rash up his entire face with a nice goose egg on his forehead. And it's only Tuesday...

California!

Well we were lucky enough to spend the last week in California at Tawni's house. At the last minute we decided to fly and the boys loved their first plane trip. We all shared Tawni's extra bedroom and the boys slept next to each other on the floor. We were able to spend three fun days at Disneyland and a little time at California Adventures. Beckham was in love with the Dumbo and Buzz rides. Those were all he asked for while Denver discovered rollarcoasters and loved Thundermountain and Space Mountain. We just had fun enjoying our time together as a family and visiting with the Smiths. Thanks for letting us invade your house guys!

Halloween and Vegas

Well Coby won a trip to Vegas for a few nights last week and we flew down without kids (thanks mom!) to spend a little time together. My sister Tawni and her husband were able to meet us and have some fun. We got a tour of Adams dad's chapel 'Little Church of the West' and watched the shows outside all the hotels and took a gondola ride. For Halloween we had a cute dinosaur and a scary transformer "megatron'. I put on a witch costume and Coby went all out as a football player. We had a lot of fun going trick or treating this year with the kids.My little brother, who really isn't that weird and his cute wife Tori. All the Reese cousins, except Mav that was a cute Tiger but upset on the sideline as the picture was taken. Also I put up a few names we are toying with and would like opinons, it could be one of these or none, who knows.

Zoo & Misc

Today my mom, Skye (Who's 19th Birthday was today), and I took the boys to the zoo to see the baby animals and get out one more time before it was too cold. We had so much fun and the boys enjoyed seeing the animals, especially the elephants who put on quite a show for us.Also this week we made pumpkin sugar cookies with the boys and let them frost and deliver them to people. This summer while Tawni was visiting my brother and his wife Tori had a sleepover with Denver and Courtney on the tramp at my parents house which they thought was pretty neat.

Swine Flu Shot?

Here's a question to throw out to everyone. I'm just wondering if you are getting your family the swine flu shots, I'm so confused with all the information out there and just wanted to see what everyone else had decided. If you have an opinion or have decided please let me know.

Will & Trust Documents

I don't know if this interests anybody but I'm really big into making sure everything is taken care of in case Coby or I or both of us die. We have a Revocable Trust and Living Wills and everything put in order for this purpose. I know that this can cost a lot of money if you go to a lawyer but I found a gift code that works if you go to a certain website. I went through the process to make sure it works and it does. You can fill out all the information and make, print, and save your own wills, trusts, and other important documents for free. If this interests you, here's the information:

Go To: http://suzeorman.com/ then click on the Will & Trust Kit link. Go to the Gift Code Button and put 898989

This will only work until October 3 so if you want to download it, do it in the next week.

Looks Like we are having...

Another Boy!
I'm actually quite shocked with the reaction from our friends and family we called or texted. First they sound disappointed then they ask if we are okay with this. Let me let everyone know that while we would be happy with any gender we have always hoped for a boy. I'm perfectly happy being the only girl in the family and love raising boys. They are so less drama and so laid back (most of the time). And who knows maybe we'll end with a girl :)
We are very excited about this but are really lacking in the name department so unless you want to see my child named Tiger (Denver's choice is actually Tiger Woods Smith) I'll take any suggestions.

Beckham is Two!

Well Today is Beckham's 2nd Birthday! He's such a joy in our lives and he keeps us on our toes every minute that he's awake. He got Hungry Hungry Hippos and play dough and was thrilled. Here's my first ever attempt at making a birthday cake, which is supposed to be a basketball and Beck is happy with it so I think of it as a success. Here's his first birthday with his exciting birth story for those that want to read it. http://cobytangireese.blogspot.com/2008/09/look-whos-one.html

Boy or Girl?

Most people know but in case you didn't, we are expecting baby number three! Due date is March 11th, but we'll get started a week early so we won't have another Beckham Story so we can plan March 4th! Yea!
Anyway, next appointment we have is September 16th and we can find out what we are having so I thought for the next month I'll let people vote what they think... Boy or Girl?

Busy Weekend

Well last weekend we went camping with the Reese's and had some fun. We just played, ate, rode four wheelers, and tried some fishing. Denver even caught a fish with his little pole. Everyone piled in and trying to keep warm. The kids loved sleeping in the tent and slept all night and even past the sun coming up :)Thunder thought she was left out so she had to sleep in the tent with us.

On Saturday night we went with the Hanks side of the family to the Weber Fair to watch Spencer in a Demolition Derby. The boys thought this was the coolest thing ever. Now Denver keeps saying when he turns sixteen he's going to crash cars, not just drive them. Great...Me and Grandpa Hanks. The fans watching.Spencer and his car before the Derby...His car after the Derby...
