Going Private

I know I don't update my blog often but I'm going to make it private anyway. I still have my saved list from when I was private before but if you think I don't have it, send me your address so I can let you check our blog when you want. Thanks!

Family Pictures

We had Amanda Laing take some family pictures of us last month and they turned out great!

Denver School Picture

Seriously, doesn't he look like he's getting old? Wow they grow up fast...

Beck's Three, Korver Six Months

Beck is three years old today. Here are the links to his past birthdays : 2 year and 1 year. He is so fun and we enjoy his attitude (most days) in our family. This is my attempt at a cake for him. It's supposed to be a mountain race track (from family fun magazine) but my mountain started slanting backward so there is a plate to hold it up. By this morning it has a plate on the side to hold it together, but the boys still loved it and think it's amazing so that's all that matter ;)Korver turned six months last week and had his doctor appointment today. He weighed in at 18lbs 12 oz (66%) and was 27 1/2 in long (78%) His head is in the 62% so he's a pretty average boy. He's 3 1/2 pounds lighter than Beck was at this age and half a pound heavier than Denver. He's the shortest at this point of all three at six months.

First Day of Kindergarten!

Denver went to kindergarten today and just loved it. Beckham was very sad and wants to go to school too but our ward had a fun' send the kids to school breakfast' that made him realize he wasn't the only one that didn't get to go...Here's Beck in our Megatron costume, he hasn't wanted to take it off lately but I figure it's like girls and their princess costumes...

Summer Fun

We've been busy this summer, these pictures are going to the parade, the zoo, and the boys dressed the same for church. A couple weeks ago Denver finally figured out riding a bike without training wheels.

Our friends the Eliason's and us took the Rangers up to the top of Willard Peak. It was fun taking all the kids and spending the day together.
Korver is 5 1/2 months and gettings o fun. He can sit on his own and loves hot dog dancing mickey. He also loves his cousin Mylie, if she's in the room all he will do is stare at her.

Get Ready for Pictures...

On June 11th we hopped a flight to California for Ashley's first birthday ;) Actually, Coby won a family trip to San Diego so we went out early to visit the Smiths.
We stayed a couple days and headed off to San Diego where we stayed on Coronado Island. One night Coby went to a Padre's game and the kids and I went to sleep and a 5.9 earthquake hit and woke me up and scared Coby out of the game.
We flew home late Thursday night and did laundry and swam with the family and started Korver on food, which we are still working on.
We left Sunday after church to head down to St. George for Basketball camp. Coby is coaching again for Bear River High School, the JV team. They did great and we had a blast as a family.

Yard, surgery and haircuts...

We got our front yard done the past couple weeks. It's great to drive up and not look at dirt. The kids and Thunder are excited for grass.
We put a water feature next to the front door which is fun...
Also I gave the boys haircuts this weekend and decided to even up Korvers also...
The finished product...And Coby had surgery on his ankle (cyst and ruptured tendon) so he's been laid up a while and Denver's joined in.
This is a rare picture of Grandpa Jeff holding a baby grand kid, he usually waits till they are bigger but he was able to put Korver to sleep!

Korver 2 Months & Denver's 5 years

Korver is 8 weeks old today. He's been a very hard baby with constant crying so we took him to the doctor today and they put him on acid reflux medicine. It seems to have worked great because he seems like a totally different happy baby. He would actually sit without crying and was smiling and playing with his toys. It was a great day and hopefully it will continue.
Denver turned 5 on the 16th and we had the family come over for cupcakes and ice cream. I made mini cupcakes for the cousins to decorate themselves which was a lot of fun.
All Denver wanted was a transformer pinata that he saw at a store back last fall. So we got him that for the cousins to break open.
Last for his birthday was a sleep over with his best friend Dylan. Pretty simple wishes for a five year old.

Major Catch Up

I've gotten really awful at updating my blog so be ready for a lot of pictures.
First off tonight was Denver's first soccer game. He was so excited. Coby is their coach and my little brother Spencer came and helped me coach four and five year olds. It was definitely interesting as they ran in a big group and kicked.
I love the look of concentration on both of these guys...
On March 28th we blessed Korver, which went great.
Here he is after the party...We had a great Easter dying eggs...
Stacey and Layne had a fun egg drop. Jerzi's (with the balloon) was the only one to make it.
Here's everyone throwing them off the roof...
This is just a cute picture of Mylie and Korver while everyone went outside for the Easter egg hunt and drop.

Pictures

My sister Tawni was able to come visit this past week end with her kids. We had fun (even with some sickness) and are glad they came for awhile. I'm still not sure how we've managed to have six kids four and under but we've done it. Courtney, Ashley, Grant, Beckham, Denver, and Korver.
Coby had an awards dinner for work last night and so we got all dressed up and took Korver with us. I put him in a cute outfit and then he slept the entire time we were there! Oh well at least I got a cute picture.
Korver went to the doctor yesterday for his 2 week appointment and he'd actually lost 2 ounces. I've never had a kid lose weight at any appointment so I'm not sure what to do but start feeding him by time not when he wakes up. Other than that the doctor said he was doing great, his measurements are following Denver so I'm curious to see if he grows up looking more like Denver than Beckham.

Korver Dean

Thanks Tawni for updating everyone. And thanks for all the Congrats. Here are a couple pictures we just got home this afternoon so here's what I have for some pictures, the boys are so excited for their brother.Yes, he came on his own almost three weeks early. Ironically Coby's twin brother had gone to the hospital Monday morning to get started with is baby. By 10:30 Monday night I was starting to have contractions that were consistent. His brother called to tell us they had their baby at 11:00 that night and by midnight we decided to head to the hospital because we didn't want to end up in another Beck situation. They put us on the drip all night and the doctor broke my water at 9:30 and he came at 11:02. He was still pretty big for that early and so far he's been a great baby. Never cries but came out sucking his fingers (and thumb) so we've got him taking a binkie real well. I'll keep ya updated!
