Future Fireman

Today at Grandma Teriann's school they had a firetruck to spray the kids with water for their end of school party. Denver got to get on the truck and wear one of the firemen's hats (he said it was very heavy). He thought it was so neat to be able to climb all over the truck and he now wants to be a fireman when he gets bigger (among everything else he plans on doing).

What a Laugh!

This is what I love about kids. This is Beckham laughing is head off because Denver is throwing toys at him. They are still doing it as I write this. You'd think I'd put a stop to this instead I start taping and hurry to put it on my blog. :) And sorry about their dress, Beckham got dinner on him so I took his pants off because it's almost bath time and Denver thinks he has to do whatever Beckham does. Oh well. Enjoy the laughing.

Crawling!?!

Well Beckham's been getting around just fine for about a month and a half now but he's never officially crawled. He rolls, does this sit move, and a head slide but he couldn't figure out the arms and hands. Well this week he started moving his hands and it's turning into a crawl. It still needs practice but it's coming.

New Callings

Well on Sunday I got a new calling as our Nursery B leader and cordinator. We had two leaders there with 16 two year olds, including one with downs syndrome. It was utter choas and I'll admit, I came home and cried to Coby. Most weeks we should have three leaders but the role has 26 kids that could very likely all show up. I've spent the week on a couple websites that have good ideas (theideadoor and sugardoodle) but if anyone has great ideas, songs, activities that their kids just love in nursery please let me know, since I'm going to need all the help I can get.

Coby finally got released from Elders Quorum President and less than a week later got called to Young Mens 2nd Counselor which includes a lot of scouting and camping- anyone that knows Coby knows that's not exactly his personality. So we'll be doing a lot of growing in the next while, any ideas would be great. Thanks!

Bowling!

For Family Night this week our friends, the Eliason's, and us took the kids bowling. This was Denver's first time, which because of the Wii he didn't know there was real bowling. But he loved it! The ramp was nice even though about half way through the game Denver wanted to throw it the way we were. Plus, we had the bumpers in the gutters, which benefited all of us. We had so much fun and will definately do it again. Just for a side note: I beat Coby!

Sleep Issues!

So we are having some issues right now if anyone can help. Beckham has decided that since he can sit up he doesn't want naps. The minute I lay him down he sits up and crys. Now he's started sitting and staring out the side at the door. The minute I walk in he gets excited thinking I'm going to get him out. Then when I lay him down again, he starts sobbing and the whole thing starts over. Any ideas?
