LOOK WHO'S ONE!!!

I don't know where a year went!?! As I look back and remember what an exciting entrance he made into the world, I should have know he would become a special kid. Beck has turned into a very mischievous, independent, fun little guy. He loves food and will come running if he sees anyone eating. He loves to play with his brother and is already starting to get his own way . He is always smiling unless he's hungry or tired (like his mom) and we love the atmosphere he brings into our family.

Here's a little bit about his story when he was born, you can stop reading now if you remember, I remember it like it was yesterday (it still makes me sick to my stomach). I woke up with contractions at 3:15 in the morning. The hospital said to take tylenol and get in the bath to make sure I was in labor. I did that and straightened my hair and got into bed. The contractions where consistent at six minutes for an hour and a half so I told Coby we should probably go. I went to get out of bed at 4:45 and my water broke. Becky came up and we were out the door at 5:00. We drove really fast and by Farr West I was very uncomfortable (to say the least) by 31st street I was ready to push. Coby's yelling (and swearing) made Beck stay put till we pulled up to the hospital door. Luckily it was a shift change and some nurses were in the parking lot and helped me out of the car and into a wheel chair. The rest is like a movie, the nurses running through the halls with a wheelchair and me screaming at the top of my lungs. When I got on a bed his head was already out and the nurses delivered him, with no help from the drugs :( He was born at 5:31 am at 8 lbs 9 oz and 21 inches long.
Here's a picture of us a year ago:

I had no idea his birth was so exciting! I feel for you. At least with Morgan I was in the hospital before she decided to come. I hope his first birthday is great!

Happy Birthday! He is such a cute big boy. He looks so much older than Sadie. I can't believe your story. That will be a fun one to tell your kids when they are older. You are so good, you already have his pictures done. Such a good mom:)

Happy Birthday, Beckham. I recall you telling that story at Carli's shower, sounds like way too much excitement. I am proud of you for going natural, even if it wasn't planned. That's not the popular route. (Although, it's the one I plan on, I guess I'm weird.)

Happy Birthday! I remember Bishop and Becky telling us about his delivery. They were pretty worried about it all. It's crazy that it's been a year already. They grow too fast. She is a cute boy! Where did you do the little announcement thing? It is really cute!

Happy Birthday Beckham!! They grow up so fast don't they? Your birth story is pretty crazy Tangi! I enjoyed reading it again. You know my grandma had sort of the same experience with my mother--and my mom is ALWAYS early, never late and has been known to take our plates out from under us even before we've finished eating. It will be interesting to see how Beckham's personality develops!

Oh my...I can't believe he is already one. The time goes by way to fast, before we know it our kids will be moving away to college and leaving home. I don't try to think about those times and enjoy every moment that I have with them now. Happy Birthday to Beckham.

Wow, you are amazing! He'll like to hear that story when he gets older. Brittan asks quite a bit about "being in the hospital." I am just greatful she can't remember it.
How was it without the drugs? Would you do it again?
