Our Trip

Well our trip was really nice. These trips we go on are incentive trips Coby wins from work so alot of the same people go and we have a lot of fun seeing each other. Also I need to shout a big THANK YOU to our supportive family who helps take care of our kids while we go have some alone time. We couldn't do it without them. THANKS!!!

We stayed at a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale Florida for five days (me only three) and were able to see a couple movies and play in the pool with our friends. Our room overlooked the 18th green at some golf course, which Coby loved. We got to go to South Beach Miami which was not that cool.
We even got to see James Caan (Ed Diline from Vegas) at the pool there. I didn't dare talk to him but took some pictures from where we were sitting.
Sunday we flew 2 1/2 hours to the Virgin Islands. We stayed on St.Kitts, which was beautiful. The ocean was actually warm to swim in, it was amazing. We went a jeep ride and toured some old sugar plantations. We had alot of fun but were very ready to come home and see the boys. We got home at 10:30 last night and actually woke them up. Neither held a grudge against us but Denver did end up sleeping with us which in his entire life he has never done. I was so worried about Beckham and he just kept smiling and touching our faces to see if we were really there. It was a fun time to relax and enjoy time with just the two of us.

Looks like so much fun. Adam thinks its funny you think of James Caan from Las Vegas, when he is SO FAMOUS for being Sonny in 'The Godfather'. (It's just cause that's his favorite movies). Love the pics, glad you enjoyed your trip and the kids still love you. See, nothing to worry about!

It sound like you guys had fun! It is kind of bittersweet though! It is so good to get away but you just miss those kids so much it tears you apart! I can only imagine what a great homecoming it was!

I think that it is so important to be able to get away sometimes, just as a couple. I am glad you had a great time!!!!

What a fun trip! I understand how you feel leaving your kids. We left Gavin in January to go to Vegas with Sean & Wendy and I felt pretty bad about it! But it is nice to get away for a while and have a change of pace. I think it is good for you and for them. I'm glad you had a good time!

I loved your pictures. Where is next year's trip? You are so lucky that Coby gets all of those great oppurtunities. It looks like you guys had so much fun. I must admit, looking at that ocean, I was very jealous!

Looks like a nice, warm vacation. But I must say my favorite part of your blog is 'Denver's Comment Of The Day'. Seriously, SO funny! The kid must keep you laughing all day.

It sounds like you guys had so much fun on your trip (even though you were away from your kids). It is always hard to leave them, but I am sure you guys enjoyed your time away from them. Glad you had fun, and glad that you are back with your kids. :)

Isn't it always nice to get away from the kids and spend some time together? But I know I usually end up missing them during the trip. Crazy how much they are a part of you isn't it? Looks like you had fun. Also. We are going to start our walking group when it gets warm and soon the play group.

That is so cute and touching that Beckham kept touching your face and Denver got to sleep with you. I was so excited to see the boys off the plane. They saw me about 100 yards away and ran to me as fast as they could, and I ran to them as fast as I could, with arms open and tears in my eyes. They were adorable and precious smiling so big and jumping into my arms. I was bawling and the boys faces were red, it was special. My mom was there to see it all and she cried as well--reminiscing the old days when me and Lisa would run into her arms. Family is everything!!
