Draper Temple Open House
Yesterday we had fun as a family. Coby left work at noon and we did some shopping (including Tai Pan and IKEA which is always fun). Then we met my parents, Skye, and Travis at Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then we went over to the Draper Temple Open House. We were so excited to go because Denver has always wanted to go in the temple. He was shocked when we got there and told him he could go inside with us. As we walked around he kept asking where Jesus was (since it was his house) it was cute. They do the open houses different now, you go park at a nearby Stake Center and watch a movie then they bus you to the Temple and Denver and Beck though the bus was as cool as anything we did. After we all went to Cold Stone and had ice cream. What a great day!

I bet that was such a neat thing for Denver. It sounds like a really fun family outing.
That would be so awesome! My kids would love that. It was like when we went to Temple Square, Dylan loved Trax more than the lights!
What a fun day! Sammy always wants to go inside the temple too. Do you need to have tickets in order to go?
What a fantastic day. It really doesn't get much better than that! I love the picture of your family standing in front of the temple!
That does sound like a great day!

WE need to make it there....that sounds like such a great time. I know my Carson would love to go inside the temple.
What a fun family trip! Kevin and I were never able to make it to the Draper temple before we left. And we certainly haven't had icecream since we moved to this frozen state. I guess you're pretty lucky! :)
That sounds like so much fun! Were your kids good? We are going there on the 7th of Feb. and I am so worried my kids are going to be screaming and trowing fits. Just wondering how Denver and Beck did!
What a fun day! I'm like Joell and worry my kids would be bad!
We went a couple of weeks ago. I wish we had did what you did and brought our camera so we could at least get pictures outside. It is such a gorgeous temple.
As for your other post about the van, that has been my number one fear...locking my kids in the car. I'm glad things worked out ok despite the tears.
That looked like a fun trip. We need to see it sometime.
That's funny because Madalyn's favorite part was the bus ride too!!! Hopefully they will remember the more important things about it too!!!
