What is that?

We went to the doctor yesterday because Denver was getting this horrible rash of hives all over his body but mostly concentrated on his face. The doctor told us it was this weird named thing that comes from being in contact with questionable water. Where would that happen around here? Well my wonderful curious son spends half the day pretending to be a dog outside with Thunder and Mario. I get after him a lot for being in the kennel and he can't seem to stay away from Thunders water bucket. One day I found his toy dog completely in it and other days he just puts Thunder's food in and takes it out. Either way it's disgusting, the final straw was when he came in last week and said "Don't worry mom, I was thirsty so I just drank out of Thunder's water". Ugh! These pictures are three days after it started and after two days of antibiotics to kill the bacteria he got but it looked awful. Picture a sixteen year old boy with horrible acne :)

Brothers

My mom and I went to the Layton Hills Mall this morning to do a little shopping. As we were walking along the people in Kiddie Kandids stopped and gave us a free 8x10 because they didn't have anyone in there. So even though they weren't dressed up and Beck's hair isn't done we took advantage (and even bought one more). Here's my cute boys!

Happy 4th of July

Today we had a family lunch and water fight. It's becoming somewhat of a tradition with the Reese's. We had a lot of fun with well over five hundred balloons, waterguns, hoses, and buckets. It was fun to get together and get wet. Denver loves it because even the adults get wet (except the grandmas, they sat inside and watched during the major water). Also, Becky just had her hair done and didn't want it to get wet-thus the shower cap.

SO Big!

Here is Beckham (and Denver) being so big and playing their recorders. It kind of shows their relationship and how Denver does whatever Beckham does and Beckham will one day be the take charge brother.

Also, my uncle Travis is living with us while he sells his house and Denver has become obsessed with copying everything he does. He wears glasses to "help him see" and has a dog that he puts wherever Mario is and shadows Travis around.

What Kind of Parent?

Do you ever have those days? I guess today was one. This is a picture of Beckham while he was taking his afternoon nap. I'd changed his diaper, gave him a bottle and put him in bed where he instantly went to sleep. Can you see anything wrong with this picture?Now look a little closer...
Yes, somehow I had both legs in one side of his shorts. But it must not have bothered him to much because he never complained and slept for 2 1/2 hours.
Here's just another one of Denver at swim lessons today. He wasn't that keen on them today because the girl he has a crush on (Whitney) wasn't there so he didn't really want to do anything. He just sat dunking himself under the water. If you look close, his eyes are wide open.

Busy Summer!

Well I've had intentions to update my blog and we've done plenty of stuff but I forget to take pictures and don't take the time to post anything. But my friend Michelle reminded me that I should try better. We had a pool office party at Gordon's house and this weekend Coby's old mission companion and his family stayed with us. That was a lot of fun and Denver has started Tumbling and Swimming lessons. I haven't taken any pictures at tumbling but here are some from swimming today. Denver is convinced that can swim by himself, so they have to keep letting him go so he'll sink and hold onto them. Also, here are some cute ones of Beck, he spends the whole time trying to get to the pool.
